Contributions from Indian citizens to PRADAN are eligible for 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
US citizens will be re-directed to the “Friends of PRADAN Fund” run by Charities Aid Foundation America, which channels contributions to PRADAN and allows tax benefits to US donors under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.
Indian laws restrict PRADAN from receiving online donations directly from non-Indian sources. We will gratefully receive all contributions by cheque or demand draft.

  • • A receipt will be generated once your transaction is complete. You shall receive your tax exemption
    certificate at the email address provided by you.
  • PRADAN does not refund or cancel any contributions made towards its Endowment Fund.
  • * Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a unique alphanumeric combination issued to all juristic entities
    identifiable under the Indian Income Tax Act 1961. We would need your PAN number while issuing receipts.
  • Every rupee spent on PRADAN results in four to six rupees worth of investment in helping poor people develop a livelihood.
